‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2′ To Reveal End Credit Surprise

This fall we’ll see the end of the Twilight series as we know it – or at least as it was originally conceived, since The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is the last of the material from author Stephenie Meyer’s brainchild. Some of us will be heaving a great sigh of relief, others will be mourning the end of the sparkly vampire series. Well, for the latter, it turns out there could be good news, in the form of a nice surprise at the end credits. As for what that is, we can only guess. Will it lead to more movies? We can only guess again.
According to Screencrave (via The Insider), Kellan Lutz has revealed that director Bill Condon told him to stay through the end credits. His exact words were: “They’re gonna love it, and Bill even told me that, stay for the credits- there’s a really special thing happening.”
Hmmm… but what could it be? Perhaps we’ll get to see Bella, Edward, Jacob and Renesemee having a nice normal game of ‘Twilight Bowl’ (sort of like Tekken Bowl, no?). Or maybe Anne Rice‘s Lestat will show up (that would be awful, actually – let’s not ruin The Vampire Chronicles). Chances are, it’ll be some plot twist or clincher that’ll leave fans wanting more – or maybe it’ll just be a sort of ‘thank you’ for sticking with it until the end. We’re hoping it’ll involve Buffy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Whatever happens, we know the franchise has been a good money-spinner, and there are reports that the studio wants to continue the adventures in some way. Interesting. But after all their recent press, would Pattinson and Stewart really want to do any more of these movies? Either way, it sounds like the series may continue after all…
Would you want to see more Twilight?
