Get Ready to Rumble with ‘Feud: Bette and Joan’
Prolific TV guru Ryan Murphy is at it again, delivering a new anthology series, this time focused on famous celebrity feuds. First up is Feud: Bette and Joan, a look at the infamous rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.
The first trailer for the upcoming FX series gives glimpses at Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Crawford’s (Jessica Lange) bitter feud, as they make their one and only film together, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? “There was never a rivalry like theirs,” Olivia de Havilland (Catherine Zeta-Jones) tells the camera to open the trailer. “For over half a century, they hated each other, and we loved them for it.”
The series also costars Judy Davis, as gossip columnist Hedda Hopper, Alfred Molina, as Robert Aldrich, Stanley Tucci, as studio boss Jack L. Warner, Kiernan Shipka, as B.D. Hyman, and Murphy regulars Sarah Paulson, as Geraldine Page and Kathy Bates, as actress Joan Blondell.
Feud premieres Sunday, March 5 on FX.
