Oh, my! So many things popping up in this short preview for Season 2 of Stranger Things.

If you’re unfamiliar with Stranger Things (and we are truly sorry you are), the trippy Netflix series took the Internet by storm when it premiered last July, offering endless commentary and theories about the comings and goings of the denizens of a small Indiana town. Set in the ’80s, the show not only painted small-town life but then threw it into the Upside Down, an alternate and very scary universe complete with monsters and other very weird stuff, that is being kept secret by a nefarious government organization.

Stranger Things also made sensations of its young cast – Finn Wolfhard (“Mike”), Gaten Matarazzo (“Dustin”), Caleb McLaughlin (“Lucas”), Noah Schnapp (“Will”) and especially Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, the girl with special powers who helps the boys solve the mystery of Will’s disappearance. As for the adults, Winona Ryder makes a nice comeback, playing Will’s frantic mom, along with other great character actors such as David Harbour, Matthew Modine and others.

Now fans are eagerly awaiting for Season 2, which is to premiere around Halloween, and judging for the snippet we saw during the Super Bowl, we are oh-so intrigued. Starting with a classic ’80s “Let go my Eggos” commercial (and Eleven’s favorite food), it launches right into a series of image flashes, including one with a giant spider-like monster looming. Eeek! Plus, as it tells us, “The world is turning Upside Down.” Take a look!

Halloween can’t come fast enough.
