Actor Jake Gyllenhaal is going to do a yet to be titled horror-thriller film with his Nightcrawler director Dan Gilroy at the helm and his former co-star Rene Russo (Gilroy’s real-life wife) joining him. Gilroy’s career has mostly been as a writer, but the 2014 psychological thriller Nightcrawler was his debut film as a director – and my god, what a gem of a movie! If we think about again, it will haunt us for a few days. It’s one of the best things Gyllenhaal has ever done, and that’s saying a lot because the boy can act.

The plot for the Netflix flick follows big-money artists and mega-collectors who pay a high price when art collides with commerce, reports Variety, and will also star Stranger Things breakout star Natalia Dyer, Tom Sturridge, Toni Collette, and John Malkovich. So yeah, sounds like we’ll be tuning in.
