Here’s a little bit of casting news that sounds intriguing. In a gender-switching move, Taraji P. Henson will star in a re-tooled version of the Mel Gibson’s comedy What Women Want, playing a tough woman who can suddenly read men’s minds in What Men Want.

Henson is playing a sports agent who can’t seem to break the boys’ club mentality and rise in the ranks. But when she gains the power to read their minds, she uses it to her advantage to sign the NBA’s next superstar. Sounds pretty perfect for Henson, and it’ll be fun to see her doing some comedy after her string of heavy dramas.

Tracy Morgan and Aldis Hodge also star and Girls Trip filmmaker Will Packer and James Lopez. Henson will executive produce. What Men Want is set to hit theaters January 11, 2019. (via The Hollywood Reporter)
