Idol Shocker! James Durbin Eliminated

Many American Idol fans were stunned when Casey Abrams was pegged for elimination early in the show. Others were shocked when Pia Toscano was sent home to a 9th place finish. American Idol: Casey Can’t Be Saved

For the second time on American Idol this season, Casey Abrams was pegged for elimination. This week though, there was no save available for the judges and Casey was sent home. The bearded 20-year old from Idyllwild was one of the more colorful contestants on the show. A true musician, Abrams could be counted on doing something dramatically different every week, whether it was singing Nirvana, playing the base, or kissing Jennifer Lopez. American Idol: Casey Abrams Gets the Save

A huge night on American Idol as Casey Abrams was pegged for elimination, and then saved by the judges. Stefano Langone was second from the bottom while Thia Megia also landed in the bottom three. The save means American Idol will tour as a Top-11, rather than a Top-10, and it shows this might be the most talented cast ever. As for Fantasy American Idol, no elimination points will be awarded this week. You can still earn points for correctly guessing the bonus questions.
