J.R. Martinez Wins Dancing with the Stars!

In result that was somewhat expected, J.R. Martinez won Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, alongside partner Karina Smirnoff. From the first week of competition it was clear that Martinez was one of the best, as the Iraq war veteran-turned-soap opera star won over fans with enthusiasm and charm. He also won over the judges with his first-rate dancing, at times looking like one of the professionals. Martinez overcame a late-season ankle injury to take home the Mirror Ball Trophy. Smirnoff is also a first-time winner. Rob Kardashian wound up in second place, as he dramatically improved as the season went along. Kardashian benefitted from the instruction of Cheryl Burke and seemed to grow up on the show. Early favorite Ricki Lake finished in the third. Despite dancing strong all season long, she appeared to fade in the show's final weeks. Even a 30 to start the final night wasn't enough to save her. Most fantasy players predicted Martinez would win top honors, and they were right. Congratulations to all the Fantasy DWTS winners!

DWTS: Macchio Karate Kicks Romeo Home

Ralph Macchio survived Week 8 of Dancing with the Stars, despite receiving low scores in the instant dance due to a knee injury.
